Think I saw they only allowed like 10 pressures. Pass blocking did well.

Purdy still got sacked and he had to bail of a few times. It wasn't as good as the run blocking.
He looked tremendous run and pass blocking mostly the whole game. I didn't watch him on every play. But I did watch the line a little and mostly him. When I was he looked very good to me at both.
Senior Bowl standout strikes again. I don't know what the exact %'s are but it feels like every year the guys who show best at the Senior Bowl tend to look at least decent as NFL rookies.

Puni is a god send. Now if we can just get a RT.

I was wrong, it was even better that I mentioned:

He's really playing like first round level. Eases all the stuff going on with Pearsall.
This is way early, but does Puni move to RT at some point? He seems more consistent than McKivitz already and he seems to have the athleticism.
Very impressed with his first game as a rookie! Just looks like he belongs already starting on the OL and helping hold down the trenches.

McKivitz is actually a better pass blocker than McGlinchy who went Round 1, Pick 9. So I wouldn't mess with that right now. What gives Brock problems is the inside pressures (example Chris Jones). So with Puni pass protection plus Brock's quick release (average 2.5 seconds) the OT's aren't as critical as a guy who can't read quickly, like Jimmy G, who was limited in accuracy to the middle of the field. If Zakelj - who is bigger than Brendel, and just as strong and quick - can beat out Brendel for the Starting Center position, I think we have the makings of a very dominant line. Again Assuming Trent and Banks stay💯% healthy.

This is how Drew Brees was protected in NO

Great guards and protection up the middle

Really? Then I agree. I don't watch other teams, I just don't have the time.

I remember the 2000 Rams (Greatest show on Turf) they had Orlando Pace and Adam Timmerman. Then they had Issac Bruce, Az-Zahir Hakim, and Torry Holt. Kurt Warner just destroyed defenses with the passing game. The 49ers offense was on the same pace last year with Brock throwing to Deebo, Aiyuk, Jauan, CMC and Kittle. Hopefully our defense can keep and hold any 4th quarter leads in the super bowl this year.
