I've been saying this the last four days:
If we beat Dallas, yes go all in.
If we lose to Dallas, no.

Should the 4-4 49ers go all in or all out at the trade deadline?

I'm kinda with you, f**k them picks but don't touch the 5th round pick, that's a special one.
I still want a good Safety too. Jiayir Brown needs to sit.

We still have TB, GB, Detroit, and Buffalo. And 3 more division games. No way we run the table. A Dallas win would just be a small moment of glory in an otherwise forgettable season.
time for a mini rebuild instead of wasting draft picks on these overpriced guys that add little to the roster.

True, not to mention Trey Sermon, Danny Gray, Ambry Thomas, Drake Jackson, and TDP. I mean we aren't even getting special teams play outta any of these dudes. And they have not replenished the trenches on defense. They have let a great d line filled with depth be depleted and restocked with a bunch of average to below average free agents outside of Collins. And they still have yet to correct the IOL. Puni looks promising. Banks is barely average and Brendal is horrible. And we all know what Burford did in the SB.

They don't have to run the table all they have to do is be better than Seattle that also has to play those teams and the 49ers.

It feels we went all in with Trent and BA contracts. The goal was to start preparing for Brock contract next year. Not bring in yet more high priced free agents.
Look, not being negative. Hope the best but putting a free agent bandaide on doesn't help us next year and I don't think it really helps us this year. This year feels like a reset over a championship year. We won't go to NFCC every year.
I think they should punt on high price free agents and deal with where we are.

We are the only ones not trying to improve our roster for the 2nd half. I guess we can't because of all the money we are paying to guys now or prepping for Brocks contract.

LAR is playing well now that they got Kupp and Nakua back. It's a game against MIN right now. AZ could hit a stride soon to. After our by we will probably be dead last in our divison unless we can beat DAL

Watching the Rams and Vikings now.
Both these teams are so much better, especially on offense, than 49ers. This season is done, this team is done.

I mean, I felt this when I saw the Ravens manhandling Tampa. We have a lot of talent, but we have too many holes and issues this year IMO. Fix the OL, get better LB depth, develop the rookies, and we're in good shape.
I think we have a good opportunity to bounce back with some fresh faces next year.
We still have a good team, but I don't feel like we're good enough for a Super Bowl.

When you look at last years team vs this year, what are the glaring holes, outside of the ones created by injuries?
