Should the 4-4 49ers go all in or all out at the trade deadline?

I wouldn't call not overspending for Davon Godchaux, giving up, lol
I agree with most...Dline support more than anything. We are going to have our hands full with the Lions and Eagles olines should we be fortunate enough to encounter them in the playoffs (antijinx)
Sometimes you have to be realistic on the state of the team. You can't just make trades just for the f**k of it, to please fans for a short period. Team has to look at things realistically, not just for the short term but also for the long term.
there isn't one player that is going to magically turn this team into a true SB contender like the Lions, Ravens, Chiefs, Bills etc

I also think that people have come to expect trades because we've made deadline deals the last few years, but yeah, it's just not always the case. With Hargrave on the books they really don't want to spend more money, and the rentals, IMO are mediocre . We have decent depth as is, and we're getting people back.
We have all our reinforcements coming back

True.

If they trade for a player it would have he would have to be a big contributor for next season at reasonable price. It can't be a one year rental like previous years with, in which we were a true SB contenders.

What are you talking about. If healthy this team is good enough to win the Super Bowl. lol

The 49ers have never been good enough to win a Super Bowl and even when fully healthy this year the team will not have its top DT or WR and have two other players in CMC and Greenlaw coming off major injuries. Let's not pretend this is the team that is the same one that played in the Super Bowl last year.

I swear folks have not been seeing what's going on this season lol

I think this roster is probably 10-15 range. Still good enough to win the division. Maybe reinforcements help bump them up some but not enough to be in the top 5 range like previous years.
Cmon. Do something
Looks like they aren't doing Jack

you guys are ridiculous.... we're a 1/2 game out of first place in the NFCW and we're about to get the reigning OPOY back

if we don't make a trade in the next half hour, it's not because "we gave up" -- it's because we didn't like any of the deals available

I mean that's a pretty logical way to look at it as well…overall it looked like scraps out there
