Who would we be selling if we did?

Likewise, both would definitely help and not cost too much.
I doubt any NFC teams want to trade a good player to the Niners. If anything they probably pick up some depth.

Definitely no. There are too many holes and it's not worth it. Too many things would have to go right.

-terrible center.
-no LB depth and banking on Greenlaw coming back playing to form.
-Aiyuk out for the year
-Both safety positions
-Questions on CMCs injury. How's he going to be and is this going to flare up again?
-DL depth and talent. Other than Bosa, it's really lacking here.
-Our DC hasn't been very promising so far. Looks just as bad as last year.

This. 🤦‍♂️

Oh come on. It's October, they win this weekend and their .500 with a bye. Literally no different this time last yr.

make a move to get some help. It trickles down, STs gets a boost because the guys who should be playing just STs are starting elsewhere.

Man we couldn't be further from agreeing on this. And I hope you're right.

Last year Brock got concussed and played sloppy a couple games, and we got swept up in momentum against the ravens. Kyle had a few boneheaded games, but the scheme didn't appear broken. We were completing at a high percentage. and we were relatively healthy

this year couldn't feel any more different than last to me. Injuries alone justifies my stance here.

add in:

-offensive scheme changed from effective (last year) to ineffective. Red zone percentages tell the story there.

-only a few players not making mistakes repeatedly. Mistakes that weren't made last year.

-Brock regressing. He's pressing too much, holding the ball too long, and often ignoring the safe easy play. Perhaps the schemes fault.

-special teams somehow worse than last year.

etc etc. I could go on but it's unimportant, and the point is simply this: it felt like a couple correctable things cost us some games last year. The list of what I would think we'd need to be a contender this year is loooonnnnggggg, with a big portion of it being based on sheer luck: health.

Shanahan and Purdy could share it at halftime. But then they would have to rest at least 15 minutes before going out to play again.

Why tf would a team like Carolina not wanna trade with SF? Or any team not really competing? Teams in the AFC would trade with KC but no team in the NFC won't with the 9ers? lol ok
Godchaux is not good not sure why he keeps getting mentioned
All in & destroying future cap….no. All in while obtaining quality players who can fill gaps & help us get back on track YES. BUT Kyle has to make several changes internally & get the best 11 on the field on both sides of the ball to make it all work.

-Campbell should be cut
-Graham at ILB next to Warner, Winters & Bethea (spelling?) at SAM rotation until one separates
-Huff shouldn't start over Mustafa or Brown when healthy ever again
- Cowing needs a role helping stretch the field & getting him in space
-Feliciano should start at Center
-Burford needs a shot at RT
- Feature Deebo less, Jennings way more, Kittle more
- 22 should be benched, bring in Luter when we go nickel

Trade needs:
- DT: prefer DJ Jones over a high priced player
- Edge: The Georgia kid on the Giants would be perfect - WR: Someone shifty with speed who can separate. Kirk from Jax would work in this offense
-RB: Love idea of Wilson Jr or Mostert returning
TE2: Coupd probably get one of NEs for relatively cheap
