f**k this program

Cal's program has always had the same problems:
-Very few alumni care about the football program
-Most students that go to Cal go there purely due to academics and have little connection to the University outside of how it an help their job
-The local community is a bunch of hippies who would love nothing more than to tear down football
-The few locals and alumni that care think their program should compete with USC instead of realizing they first need to climb out of the basement as a bottom dweller program.

You guys fire coaches way too prematurely. Sonny Dykes went from 1-5-8 wins and has one set back year and you let him go!? WAYYYYY too early. Dykes is now 7-0 with SMU and either this year or next year is going to get a pretty good power conference job.

Jeff Tedford is clearly the best coach your program has in the last 50-60 years and you fire him!??! lol what? To me that was the most mind blowing thing.

There's not many programs that you can say fired the 2nd best coach they ever had. Cal has got to be the only one.

Ya, crazy... and to think SC extended the 2nd worst coach they ever had and gave him a poison pill contract...

Every time I bring this up I am routinely ridiculed. To be fair, however, something went wrong with Tedford at Cal. The program started going downhill. Perhaps he could have turned it around, but then again, perhaps not. I've always suspected that Tedford was brought in to generate excitement and dollars for the Memorial Stadium retrofit. The University turned a blind eye to the low graduation rates until the retrofit was completed.

A bad ticker has also hurt Jeff a great deal. It surfaced at Tampa Bay in the NFL, and then again at Fresno State, where health issues forced his resignation after three seasons.

All good points tbph

I don't think Sonny or Wilcox are the answers

Imho Wilcox will jump the moment a school gives him an offer

You see flashes under Wilcox but no consistency. Our QB getting hurt last year killed momentum

This year COVID killed anything before it even began.
We beat oregon

Still too inconsistent

from the coaches to the players

If Jed can't get a winning record in Pac play, needs to be replaced

I'd recommend that guy down the road at SJ State or Fresno's coach

Wilcox might not make it to the end of season

Way too many mistakes
Good game, despite all the mistakes
what a solid game from finish to end, vs OSU
44 - 11

loool bent those b***hes over the table and didn't let up
Roll on
