almost another no-no

Hmmm Who was the guy in here who said he should be starting this game?

I guess Lynn may be looking for a new team during the off-season, unless he wants to close. Oh wait......... Rosenthal is the obvious choice for next season.

Burnett......No

Cole............maybe a relief appearance

Choice: Liriano under short rest.

LOL You want to start Liriano with 2 days rest after throwing 101 pitches? Mind you this isnt 3 days rest like Kershaw has today. Rob, you never cease to amaze me.

The obvious choice in this game is Cole. He dominated the Cards in game 2 and just like Wacha today won't be intimidated.
Some video of that Balfour - VMart pissing fest...

I've watched it a dozen times but I still can't quite hear what Balfour says first. I

I hear "F*** a lesson on me man" but that makes no sense. Probably the Aussie accent but I heard the other stuff no problem.

I have no idea why Balfour even said anything to VMart. SO what if Martinez was staring at him. Throw a f**king pitch and strike him out. Then tell him to stare and the boxscore and his K.

Sounds like "The f**k you looking at b***h?"

That's not Balfour's style. But Martinez isn't off the hook here either. Hence why I called it a pissing fest. Two overly macho guys with hot tempers.

I was kind of worried that Balfour awoke the Tigers from their slumber but that's Balfour's M.O. so A's fans have learned to embrace it. Hence the whole "Balfour rage" thing that goes on at home whenever he comes into the game and whenever he gets a strikeout.
