that was instant karma.. Angels started the mess by hitting Upton let us not forget.. they then get butthurt when Trout is pitched up and in.. it didn't even hit him..

It's such a stiff game that is held back by unwritten rules and I wish some of the players and managers would get over it and see the bigger picture. The Savannah Bananas are obviously an extreme comparison but they sell out everywhere they go and people are having fun in the crowds throughout the game. MLB needs to see that and realize that trying to play a game as it was played in 1930 isn't gonna cut it nowadays. You don't have to be goofy but you can improve it and make it more appealing to today's audience.
yeah, the bananas are dope. I'd like to see them play. Most people dont realize that they are a real team. The fun gimmicky stuff comes when they split their banana squad in half and play each other. The pink team is actually them also. But still a valid point. They want it to be fun. The bananas have a better attendance than the A's lol

Haha these convos on the same day that Rob Manfred tells everyone he doesn't hate baseball he is trying to save it is hilarious
If you are so bad at your job that you have to convince people you don't hate the entire sport, you're probably not the right guy for the gig

This is what happens when you hire a labor law attorney as your commissioner.
BTW, FP Santangelo mentioned something about the automated strike zone that changed my mind on it. It will effectively kill the stolen base. If a catcher doesn't have to frame the pitch anymore, he can stand up early and throw from a standing position, which will beat most any baserunner. Guys wont even try to steal anymore. Way too many changes coming into the game in a short span of time. This won't even be the game we all knew in a few more years.

batting average is more for season stats. Is there a term for what the batter did for one game? It's weird to say, "what was his batting average yesterday?"
