What is that stat called? TIA

yeah batting average

batting average is more for season stats. Is there a term for what the batter did for one game? It's weird to say, "what was his batting average yesterday?"

It's the only stat they use to track the number of hits per at bats. A lot of times during a game they will say what that players average is over the last 10 games or for the month compared to his to his total game avg to show the players hot or cold streaks.

Yeah. Batting average.

I don't think it's weird to say that. He was 1-4 yesterday he batted .250.

I think it's weird you're looking for something else here.

Ok. I thought there might be a term for that that I was blanking on, and figured I'd ask true baseball fans. It's work related. Thanks.
lol Albert Pujols was added to the All-Star team with his 4 HR and .200 avg as a "legacy" selection. More proof that All-Star selections are meaningless.

Has to set the record as the first all star over the age of 55 of all time right?

Can't look at the hitting stats. It's his pitching that got him in.

Lets pump the breaks on Wainwright. Pujols is a baseball legend. Wainwright is a local legend.

Just messing. Pujols is one of the best ever. Wainwright is awesome. He is right there with Scott Rolen and Jim Edmonds for me in terms of HOF.

Rolen ahead of the other two.
