Tough first half for the locals
Highlight for me was seeing Turpin upend Munster in a top tackle
Lodge also seems to be getting under Finucane's skin but the game is running away quickly if things don't change soon

Worst weekend for Queensland NRL teams ever.
Brisbane and North QLD lack a play-making half and the Gold Coast are a shambles.

Broncos are a tragedy unfolding before our very eyes.

IMO I believe we are on the right track.
We are a couple of key players away from being competitive against the current top sides.
I still believe we need to go to the open market for an experienced half to partner Deardon/SOS.
A strike centre also if we were to part ways with Bird.
We have a very talented forward pack, but I did say (on BroncosHQ) that we don't play with bodies in motion and we lack quality plays.
One out hit ups get gobbled up by yes such as the storm.
Hopefully Seibold can address these issues otherwise we aren't going anywhere.

He's actually one of the fittest guys in the squad, that's including backs.
During the pre season he was on the top finishers in the 1.2km time trial.
Incredible engine for a young prop.

Just read Matt Scott had a stroke. Terrible for the Cowboys and Maroons legend. Hope he is okay.

Yeah saw this today too.
Wonder if he'll play in the remaining games before retirement?
In other news the NRL judiciary is a joke, 5 weeks for TPJ

Like I've mentioned previously.
Game managing halves, spine players playing in spine positions.
All the talent is there, bar a couple of injured players such as Bird.
Whether or not Seibold has tried to install attacking structures remains to be seen.
I'm giving him till next year otherwise we'll need to move on.
I'd like to be wrong but I can't see us going deep into the finals this year.
