🏈 XFL Football Thread 🏈

I enjoyed the Dallas game. Honestly, this is much more fun than the AAF. The feel of it all is just so different. I really really hope it stays and grows. Yeah, it's only like half-size or a bit less than typical NFL crowds for now, but man it'd be cool to see this keep going.

Week 2 of the XFL was better than week 1, in particular the crowd size. I really enjoyed watching these games. In all the XFL games played in NFL stadiums it became apparent to me that only half the stadium seats were made available. It appeared that half the stadiums were sold out. The Seattle game was packed. I think as the season goes we'll start seeing butts in the upper deck seats. To the extent that I have any complaint it was the overall QB play. But defense play was really good. I like how they really let them hit. The run games were really excellent. The games went really smooth with a great pace-of-play. I think the NFL should really think about adopting the XFL's play reviewing method. I think it's better than coaches having challenges. Take it out the refs hands and leave it to an eye-crew in the sky. The kickoff method is kind of interested. But I have to say that if they are aiming for safety I'm not sure if that'll achieve that goal. I saw some really big hit of there on the kickoffs.

If they can keep this up I see the league growing by 2, 4, or even 6 teams next season.

6 is a reach. Oliver Luck isn't gonna rush this development and water down the league with even worse talent. They'll take it slow. They have plenty of time.

Probably wont see an expansion until the 3 years are up. If the league is doing well, than yes.

You can floor a dude after the whistle, but removing your helmet is a no-no.

Matt McGloin is hot trash. And he's not helped by ex Niner Ian Silberman's blocking either lol

that's awesome the city is embracing the team. Vince needs to make San Diego a team next year.

Bring back the XFL Outlaws in Las Vegas! I haven't watched any of the games this year... probably cause I don't have a team to root for.

Battlehawks and the fan base are the best. I'm going for them this year. They have what the SF Demons had. Huge fan base and crazy turnouts.

Plus what NFL did to such a loyal base is so dumb. Any team would be lucky to have as loyal of a football fanbase
