all the giants LCS MVP's were role players, minus MadBum... easily could have been Ishikawa.

The irony is in the fact that they purchased 4 players for 1.5 billion dollars and Edman was the hero. The Giants entire teams were homegrown guys and role players.

I know he was a Dodger but sad news about Fernando Valenzuela passing way at age 63. He was a phenom when he appeared with that strange windup and the way he looked to the sky. Had a great breaking pitch. The large Mexican-American community in LA idolized him.
if the Dodgers win the WS they should give Kershaw the MVP award for not participating. Not having him blowing games might be the way they get over the hump.
I hate the Dodgers and the Yankees have won enough pennants but this is a showcase of stars. Still I enjoyed seeing Freddie Freeman hit that walk off grand slam. Freeman is a very under appreciated player who's out there playing hurt.

lol what kind of Giants fan enjoys seeing a Dodgers walkoff grand slam?

I said that I don't like either team but as a baseball fan I still like to see big moments. I also said that even though I don't like either team I do like a lot of their players. Freeman has always been a player I liked and often wished he was a Giant. Ohtani , Betts and Teoscar are all class acts. The Yankees have Soto, Judge and Stanton. All great players and none of them have ever done anything to make me dislike them. Any of those players would be more than welcome on the Giants.
Yankees defensive collapse in that inning will live in NY sports lore forever. They should change their name to Stankees.
oh no the dodgers won...

anyway...

I hope the Giants don't overreach for Juan Soto, if he wants to come here then that is different.

Giants top priority should be to resign Blake Snell and secure a viable shortstop.
i do have to begrudgingly tip my cap. the team from down below went out and bought themselves a ring. the way they spent all that cash will forever live on.

F*ck them, that doesn't deserve a cap tip

Why can't we sign snell and Soto? Why get used just for them to sign with dodgers, let's get folks this time.
