Agree, but might be awkward to give him more in a 2 year than what they gave Crawford.

I have to believe that the 2 year/32 million was on the table for him. Maybe his agent is still trying for a 3 year deal knowing he can settle for the Crawford deal at any time if he wants it.

I have to believe that the 2 year/32 million was on the table for him. Maybe his agent is still trying for a 3 year deal knowing he can settle for the Crawford deal at any time if he wants it.

The impending lockout probably factored in to his decision as well. Now he's at least guaranteed the 18 mil and can negotiate terms of an extension after everyone knows the new parameters of the next CBA.
