Great match
I spit in the face of people who don't wanna be cool
The Puerto Rican crowd was one of the best wrestling crowds I've seen in years. Bad Bunny's entrance was 🔥

Backlash may have been the best WWE pay per view I've seen in YEARS. Even Omos performed better than he ever has before.

EVERY match was high quality performance, and I don't know if you could've written a better ending than Cody and Brock being absolutely covered in blood (even if that was circumstantially improvised).

Credit given where it's due here. From top to bottom, beginning to end, this was absolutely FANTASTIC.

And the fan energy DEFINITELY matched that.

One thing I don't understand.. What's the point of this tournament bracket for the World Heavyweight title? With it already established that it's going to be Raw exclusive, you essentially make all the SmackDown bracket matches not worth watching at all.

I dunno but I thought the matches last night were pretty great. I kinda wanted to see Damien Priest go far in the tournament and be a darkhorse to win it - think he has potential but Seth Rollins is just on another planet right now.

I agree, I just don't see anything stopping Seth from being the guy. He is arguably the #1 fan favorite over anyone right now, including Roman, IMO.

Damian is super underrated, very talented no matter what he's asked to do. The Judgment Day faction is just not really getting much traction -- and I don't know that it ever will -- and I think that's hurting him right now.

Yeah, I can see a shake up happening. The LWO/JD storyline is played out.

The lack of story in the Brock/Cody fued is leaving a little to be desired.

It seems like they have no idea what to do with Brock right now. His image of being hard to beat is getting destroyed right now because he keeps getting booked to lose to anyone relevant.

What absolutely ASTONISHED me is the fact that Drew McIntyre was not part of the Raw bracket AT ALL. Like.. HUH??? At first I thought, who did he piss off? He has been among the top 3-5 guys there for a while now and is suddenly fading into the back for some reason. I'm reading that he's renegotiating his contract with WWE and is dealing with a minor injury so I guess that makes sense.

I would've loved to see Drew vs. Rollins. Cody, well, it would've been "too easy" for it to be him. Those other guys have earned the right and it would've been a great match not knowing who was going to get it. As of right now, it seems 100% telegraphed, which sucks all the fun out of it for me.

from what im seeing, Drew McIntyre contract's up - status is relatively unclear, he could make a jump to AEW. But he's kinda in limbo from what I know.
So was backlash really that great as you guys stated? Gonna have to watch it when I have time.
