The San Francisco 49ers have their 53-player roster after three days' worth of moves, which started on Thursday.

Below is a breakdown, position-by-position, of the players who remain. Of course, this could change based on any transactions that take place after 1 p.m. on Saturday.

NFL teams can put in a claim for any of the over 1,100 new free agents who were waived by their respective former teams until 9 a.m. PT on Sunday.

The 49ers will also begin putting together a 16-player practice squad at 10 a.m. on Sunday. For the 2020 season, each NFL practice squad can carry up to six players with an unlimited amount of NFL experience.

Linebacker Fred Warner begins the season on the reserve/COVID-19 list and does not count against the 53-man roster. The 49ers apparently left a spot open for him as the team currently has 52 players on the active roster.
