After long absence, 49ers’ Richard Sherman says he’s overcome his calf issues

Cornerback Richard Sherman, who has been hampered by Achilles-related calf injuries for two of his three seasons with the 49ers, said Friday his nine-game absence this season ended with a resolution to his leg issues.
