A King County judge has released former Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman without bail, per multiple reports. He was arrested on Wednesday morning and booked on "burglary domestic violence" charges. It's worth noting that the "domestic violence" designation was assigned due to the cornerback being related to individuals inside the residence where the incident took place.

Sherman is expected to appear in court on Friday at 8 a.m. for a second hearing on four charges. None are felonies. According to Amy Dash of CBS Sports and FOX Sports, the state is not asking for a burglary charge against Sherman, downgrading it to criminal trespass — a misdemeanor — with a domestic violence designation. The other three charges are malicious mischief, DUI, and resisting arrest.

"I see Mr. Sherman is a pillar in this community, he's a business owner, he's a husband, he's a father... I'm gonna release Mr. Sherman," the judge said, per Dash.
Sherman has been ordered to have no contact with his wife, Ashley Moss, or father-in-law.

The 911 call placed by Moss on Wednesday stated that Sherman was intoxicated and threatened suicide. He reportedly crashed his vehicle before abandoning it in a nearby parking lot and making his way to the residence belonging to his in-laws.
Police arrested Sherman outside the residence. Redmond police released the 911 audio and case reports from the arrest.

Earlier today, 49ers general manager John Lynch told NBC Sports Bay Area that he reached out to Sherman and his wife, offering resources and support.
"More than anything, just praying for them," Lynch said via Matt Maiocco. "They're good people. Just praying that they find their way through this, and we'll support them any way we can."
