Hyde's sprained AC joint occurred during the third quarter of the 49ers' October 16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. His availability for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals will not be determined until after the team's final practice of the week.
"A lot better this week than last week," Hyde said regarding his shoulder. "Today I participated in the whole practice. Things went good and things are heading in a good direction. So hopefully things stay on track, nothing takes me off track leading up to Sunday. There's a good chance I will be out there."
Hyde's availability will be up to the 49ers medical staff. "That's between the doctors, [Vice President Of Football Operations Jeff Ferguson] and Carlos," 49ers head coach Chip Kelly said today. "One thing I know is that coaches never weigh in on an injury front and says, 'I think the player can handle it.' It's really a medical decision."
CB Rashard Robinson took part in practice after missing the game against the New Orleans Saints with a sprained MCL in his left knee. Although, his participation was limited. It may be unlikely that he will play against the Cardinals. Lynch and Robinson were both injured against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 23.
Below are the Thursday injury reports for both the 49ers and the Cardinals. The two teams play each other on Sunday in Arizona.
