San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde has missed two games with a sprained AC joint that he suffered during the third quarter of the team's October 16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He has been limited in practices for the past two weeks and was listed as Questionable on Friday's injury report.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Hyde expects to play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, per sources.

During practices, Hyde has been wearing a blue non-contact jersey to protect his shoulder. How did he feel earlier this week? "A lot better this week than last week," Hyde said on Thursday. "Today I participated in the whole practice. Things went good and things are heading in a good direction. So hopefully things stay on track, nothing takes me off track leading up to Sunday. There's a good chance I will be out there."

Head coach Chip Kelly has stated that Hyde's availability for Sunday's game will be determined by the 49ers medical staff and not the coaches. News that he expects to play might indicate that the information that he is receiving from the team is positive.

We'll find out about 90 minutes prior to kickoff when the official list of inactive players is reported.
