You didn't need to scroll too far up from the bottom to find the 49ers, though. The combination of Baalke and head coach Chip Kelly has the team listed at number 25 in the ranking.
"Last season, Chip Kelly the GM sabotaged Chip Kelly the coach," wrote Ruiz. "Now it's Baalke's turn to do so. The 49ers' roster is devoid of talent, and it's looking more and more like the success this franchise enjoyed at the start of the decade had more to do with Jim Harbaugh and Scot McCloughan than it did Baalke."
Fans likely agree with that assessment. They have been calling for the firing of Baalke for a while now. After all, he has been the man in charge of a roster that has diminished greatly since the 49ers' Super Bowl appearance of the 2012 season. And yes, it was a roster primarily built by McCloughan that went to the Super Bowl. While reports have stated that Kelly's job is likely safe, Baalke may very well be on the hot seat.
It won't be long until fans find out Baalke's fate. The team has only four games left in what has been an embarrassing 1-11 season.
