The San Francisco 49ers have signed kicker Nick Rose to reserve/future contract, per Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.


Rose spent the 2016 offseason with the Atlanta Falcons as undrafted free agent out of the University of Texas, where he made 27 of his 38 college field goal attempts. Rose became the starting placekicker and kickoff specialist in the 2014 season and finished the 2015 season converting 13-of-17 field goals and 38-of-39 extra points for 77 total points to end his college career.
