The San Francisco 49ers have announced the signing of former Seattle Seahawks LB Brock Coyle along with the official signings of former Chicago Bears QB Matt Barkley and former Atlanta Falcons WR Aldrick Robinson. Coyle was signed to a one-year deal while Barkley and Robinson received two-year deals.

Coyle, 26, signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Montana in May of 2014. Last season, Coyle appeared in 12 games, starting three, and had a career-high 15 tackles and a sack. During his three years in Seattle, he appeared in 35 games with five starts, making 33 tackles and a sack. He also had four special teams tackles during the postseason with Seattle.

Chicago signed Barkley on September 4, 2016, and he was elevated to the active roster on September 22, 2016. Last season, Barkley led Chicago to a 26-6 victory over the 49ers. He completed 11 of his 18 passes for 192 yards in that game.

Robinson was a sixth-round selection out of SMU by the Washington Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft. In addition to playing for Shanahan last year, Robinson spent his first two seasons in the NFL playing within Shanahan's offense in Washington. In 2016, Robinson played in 16 games, starting just one, and had 20 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns.
