San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch may have been busy watching quarterback Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech's pro day on Friday, but that doesn't mean the team didn't have a presence at the University of Tennessee's pro day. According to Rhiannon Potkey of USA TODAY, every NFL team was represented at the Vols' pro day.

24 players worked out in front of NFL teams, including four former Vols and four players from Carson-Newman. Among the prospects were running back Alvin Kamara and edge rusher Derek Barnett.

Barnett was at the NFL Scouting Combine last month but was fighting flu-like symptoms while there. "My energy, I was smiling,'' said Barnett following the pro day. "It felt good to feel like myself, to have some pep in my step going through these drills. This is a dream come true for all of us, trying to get to the NFL."

Robert Meachem was among the former Vols participating on Friday. The receiver played for the New Orleans Saints from 2007 until 2014 and is trying to make his way back onto an NFL roster.
