Davis was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent two years with Miami, appearing in 15 games and recording 20 tackles and three passes defensed. Davis also had five tackles on special teams during that time span. He was traded to the Baltimore Ravens on September 21, 2015. In two seasons with Baltimore, Davis appeared in just five games and had five tackles, two passes defenses, and an interception.
Davis' 2015 season was cut short by a torn ACL that was suffered that October, which was less than a month after his arrival in Baltimore. He finished the season on the Ravens' injured reserve list. It was the second-straight season that was cut short for Davis with an ACL injury. He previously suffered the same injury in November of 2014 with Miami.
Davis was waived by the Ravens on November 4, 2016. He has a passion for photography and tours each host city prior to road games in order to snap some photos.
Ross was originally signed by the 49ers to a reserve/future contract on January 19th.
