16 players gathered this week for what has been labeled as "Camp Hoyer." The three-day passing session was organized and led by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brian Hoyer. It started on Monday at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Quarterback Matt Barkley posted a group photo on social media following the conclusion on Wednesday.

"It is such a long period of time that you want to get together at least for some period," Hoyer said in June while speaking to Bay Area media. "We're aiming for right in the middle of when we leave and when we come back. We'll get as many guys together as we can. You can't accommodate everybody because people are going all across the country."

The session was set up by Hoyer to allow the offense to get in some more work prior to training camp than the current Collective Bargaining Agreement will allow.

The 49ers report to training camp on July 27th.
