A panel of 12 football experts recently held a mock/fantasy NFL Draft to build out 12 teams. The difference between this mock draft and others is that these experts got to select players throughout the history of the NFL. TheMMQB, which is part of Sports Illustrated, released its All-Time NFL Draft and there were 20 players who spent the majority of their careers with the San Francisco 49ers.

Those taking part in the mock draft had to build a complete team, which means that they needed a minimum number of quarterbacks, wide receivers, etc. They also had the opportunity to choose between running a 4-3 defense or a 3-4 defense.

Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was kind enough to gather the names of the 49ers players included and where they were selected in the mock draft. Below is the list gathered by the 49ers insider.

11. Joe Montana
17. Jerry Rice
19. Ronnie Lott
58. Charles Haley
100. Joe Perry
120. Jimmy Johnson
148. Fred Dean
159. Bob St. Clair

207. Roger Craig
217. Hugh McElhenny

Of course, there were other players selected who spent time with the 49ers during their careers. For example, Deion Sanders was selected at number 38 overall, but Sanders only spent one season in San Francisco.

Ten players were selected before Joe Montana, who was the first 49ers player drafted. Their names are below.

1. Lawrence Taylor
2. Joe Greene
3. Johnny Unitas
4. Ray Guy
5. Anthony Muñoz
6. Jim Brown
7. Reggie White
8. Don Hutson
9. Tom Brady
10. Otto Graham

In addition to players, the experts had an opportunity to draft coaches as well. Legendary 49ers head coach Bill Walsh was selected second overall behind legendary Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi.
