On Saturday, the San Francisco 49ers held the only practice that would be open to fans. The team filled Levi's Stadium with 25,319 excited members of the Niner Faithful, who got to watch the players go through one of their 15 scheduled practices of training camp.

49ers Webzone writer and co-host of the "No Huddle" podcast, Zain Naqvi, was covering the event from the field. Following the practice, he sat down with Ryan Sakamoto of NinerFans.com to break down what they saw during Saturday's practice and how the team has looked so far in training camp.

One player who has impressed both Naqvi and Sakamoto is wide receiver Marquise Goodwin. The speedy Goodwin has been turning heads during training camp and consistently coming away from team drills with one or two touchdowns per practice. He is developing into a reliable deep threat and has a good rapport with quarterback Brian Hoyer.

The duo is impressed with rookie wide receiver Trent Taylor. The "shifty" receiver could be a big contributor in the return game on special teams.

Also within the discussion were the injuries to Malcolm Smith, Joshua Garnett, and what it means for the defense and offense. It was later revealed and confirmed by the 49ers that Smith will miss the 2017 season. He will likely be placed on injured reserve.

You can watch their post-practice breakdown, which contains all of their thoughts on standout players and the energy from fans at Levi's Stadium on Saturday, below.

The 49ers have Sunday off and will next practice on Monday at 10:15 a.m. Training camp breaks on August 17.
