DL DeForest Buckner continues to be unavailable for practice as he recovers from a low-ankle sprain suffered in Friday's exhibition game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Other players who did not participate in Tuesday's practice were DL Ronald Blair (groin), WR Aaron Burbridge (hamstring), LB Jayson DiManche (hamstring), OL Joshua Garnett (knee), LB Donavin Newsom (concussion), and S Jimmie Ward (hamstring-PUP). LB Brock Coyle (rib), CB Dontae Johnson (concussion), and TE George Kittle (hamstring) were limited.
Below are some quick notes from Tuesday's practice, which was the 49ers' 13th of training camp.

T Joe Staley was given a veteran's day off.
Tuesday's practice has been described as "uneventful," which is not necessarily a bad thing. Players did not wear pads and there were no known injuries coming out of the practice.
"[WR] DeAndre Smelter made the best catch of the day," reports Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area. "A really nice grab on a high throw from [QB] C.J. Beathard."
DB Vinnie Sunseri hauled in an interception off of QB Matt Barkley's second pass attempt during team drills.
Beathard had a touchdown pass to WR Trent Taylor while Barkley had his own to TE Cole Hikutini.
WR Louis Murphy has been easing into the team, being signed on July 31. He had back-to-back catches during a hurry-up drill.
S Eric Reid and LB Pita Taumoepenu each had two sacks. LB Ahmad Brooks, DL Tank Carradine, and LB NaVorro Bowman also each had a sack.
The Denver Broncos fly in on Tuesday night and will participate in joint practices with the 49ers on Wednesday and Thursday. That Thursday session will be the 49ers' final practice of training camp.
