On Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, Thomas got his first career sack when he brought down quarterback Carson Palmer in the second quarter of the game with the 49ers leading 6-3. Following the play, teammates and coaches cheered and applauded the young 49ers defensive cornerstone.
Thomas was the third overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.
