Linebacker Reuben Foster and safety Eric Reid continue to sit out practice for the San Francisco 49ers as they recover from injuries. Neither is expected to play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Foster is still recovering from a high-ankle sprain he suffered during Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. Reid is recovering from a PCL injury he suffered during Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Linebacker NaVorro Bowman, defensive end Elvis Dumervil, and tackle Joe Staley returned to practice after being given Wednesday off. Running backs Carlos Hyde (hip) and Matt Breida (ankle) continue to be limited.
