If you ignore the injured reserve list that includes 19 players, the San Francisco 49ers appear to be relatively healthy. That's good news as the team prepares to play the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Sunday.

"Since the Dallas game, the injury bug has kind of -- I don't want to jinx it -- has kind of stopped," 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh said on Thursday. "We've been able to have that continuity throughout and so the improvement that we've been seeing has been pretty cool defensively."

The only player who did not practice on Wednesday due to an injury was right tackle Trent Brown (shoulder). He was limited on Thursday. Brown played all 75 offensive snaps during Sunday's victory against the Chicago Bears after being listed as questionable for the game.
