San Francisco 49ers right tackle Trent Brown did not practice on Friday after missing the team's previous two this week. Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced on Friday that Brown would be placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury, which ends his season.

Guard Zane Beadles will start in his place for the second-straight week. This past Sunday against the Houston Texans, Beadles allowed a sack, and six quarterback hurries in place of Brown, according to Pro Football Focus.

Cornerbacks Greg Mabin (calf) and Ahkello Witherspoon (knee) are questionable for Sunday.
