The Oakland Raiders are signing former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Tank Carradine, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.

The Raiders and 49ers will play each other at Levi's Stadium in 2018.

Carradine appeared in the 49ers' first three games of the 2017 season. He left the team's Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Rams with a high-ankle sprain and was later placed on injured reserve.

The 49ers activated Carradine off of injured reserve on November 25, 2017. He appeared and started in five of the final six games of the season.

The 49ers selected Carradine out of Florida State in the second round of the 2013 draft. Since 2014, Carradine has 76 combined tackles, 5.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. In 2017, he had 19 combined tackles and 1.5 sacks in eight game appearances.
