The San Francisco 49ers have a workout scheduled with Florida State edge defender Josh Sweat this week, according to Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst.

Florida State held its pro day on Tuesday.

"Sweat clocked anywhere from 6.88s to 6.95s in the 3 cone then looked good in both defensive line and linebacker drills," wrote Pauline. "The linebacker drills were run by the Baltimore Ravens."

The Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets all had coaches on hand to watch Sweat, who will be working out for the San Francisco 49ers later this week."

Sweat registered 41 combined tackles, 11.5 for loss, and seven sacks in 12 games and 10 starts during his sophomore season in 2016. As a junior in 2017, he recorded 56 combined tackles, 12.5 for loss, 5.5 sacks, and three passes defensed. Sweat opted not to play in the Independence Bowl so he could begin preparing for the draft.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-4 and 251-pound Sweat had a 40-time of 4.53 seconds, a vertical jump of 39.5 inches, a broad jump of 124 inches, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.28 seconds. Other measurables for Sweat include an arm length of 34 5/8 inches and hands that measure 10 1/4 inches.

NFL.com projects Sweat as a second- or third-round draft pick.
