Brooks' first selection was linebacker Tremaine Edmunds of Virginia Tech and the second was wide receiver Anthony Miller of Memphis.
NFL.com projects Edmunds to be a first-round selection while Miller is projected as a second- or third-round pick. The 49ers own the ninth-overall selection with their next pick, the 59th overall, coming in the second round.
The 2018 NFL Draft kicks off next Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Tremaine Edmunds, Virginia Tech
"How about Tremaine Edmunds coming right away with the ninth-overall pick to give them, really, a dynamic player," Brooks said. "A guy that can play off the edge, can also go inside and play linebacker. I love the athleticism, the instinct, and really, I like the motor. I think this is a good guy that you can build (around) as a foundation piece on your defense."
The 49ers will host Edmunds for a pre-draft visit this week.
Anthony Miller, Memphis
"You continue to look to add weapons on the outside to help Jimmy Garoppolo take his game to the next level," Brooks said. "This is a terrific route runner, great change-of-pace guy. The guy has stutter steps, all kinds of moves at the top of routes. (He) consistently gets open in an offense that is continuing to look for guys that can add a little spice. Anthony Miller is one of those guys."
The 49ers have had no known meetings with Miller. You can view all of the team's reported interests at our pre-draft visit and meeting tracker.
