The San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills spoke with wide receiver Brandon Shed following his pro day, according to a report from Draft Diamonds. 10 teams remain in contact with Shed as the 2018 NFL Draft quickly approaches.

In four seasons with the Statesmen, Shed registered 168 catches for 2,954 yards with 32 touchdowns in 42 games. His touchdown total is a school record. Shed ran a 4.59-second 40-time, had a 35-inch vertical jump, and a 128-inch broad jump at his pro day, per Draft Diamonds. Draft Analyst lists the receiver, who did not participate in the combine, at 6-2 and 199 pounds. Although, some resources, including the official Hobart athletics page, list Shed as tall as 6-4.

Shed earned first team All-Liberty League honors in 2017 after leading the league in yards per catch (15.7). He was invited to play in the National Football League Players Association Collegiate Bowl, making him the first Hobart player to participate in the game.

"I'm a hard worker," Shed told Draft Diamonds last July. "Still learning how to play this position, so the sky is the limit once I master my position."
