Madden NFL 19 won't be released until August 10, but Madden School published the early ratings of each team's top players in the multi-platform football game. The game ratings, for the most part, are often seen as an indicator of how the masses believe specific players will perform during the upcoming season. Game simulations are even used to predict Super Bowl victors.

"Keep in mind these are ratings from an early build of Madden 19, so they may change before the game is released," warns Madden School.

Below are the ratings for the top nine San Francisco 49ers players with the top two being tackle Joe Staley and cornerback Richard Sherman. For comparison purposes, I've also included the "launch date" ratings for each player from last year's game so you can see if he has risen or dropped.

Joe Staley
Madden NFL 19: 88
Madden NFL 18: 82

Richard Sherman
Madden NFL 19: 88
Madden NFL 18: 90

Reuben Foster
Madden NFL 19: 87
Madden NFL 18: 77

Pierre Garçon
Madden NFL 19: 86
Madden NFL 18: 85

Jerick McKinnon
Madden NFL 19: 84
Madden NFL 18: 80

Robbie Gould
Madden NFL 19: 83
Madden NFL 18: 76

DeForest Buckner
Madden NFL 19: 81
Madden NFL 18: 78

Marquise Goodwin
Madden NFL 19: 81
Madden NFL 18: 73

Jimmy Garoppolo
Madden NFL 19: 80
Madden NFL 18: 77

Garoppolo may be important enough to receive a new face scan for the upcoming game, but he is still just rated at 80 overall. How he performs over the course of a full 16-game season will likely alter that rating.

Three of last year's top 5 rated 49ers players are no longer on the team. They are linebacker NaVorro Bowman, defensive end Elvis Dumervil, and running back Carlos Hyde. The 2017 version of the game launched with fullback Kyle Juszczyk as San Francisco's highest-rated player.

In this year's game, the three highest rated players in the build Madden School looked at were Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown (99), Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald (99), and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (99).

H/T to Kirk Larabee of 247 Sports for the find.
