Navies, (6-3, 245), originally joined the 49ers last November following a few injuries to the 49ers linebacker core. He played in six games with three starts last season. When LB Manny Lawson was lost for the season to a knee injury, Navies was inserted into Lawson's outside linebacker spot. He played in the first five games with two starts in 2007 and accumulated nine tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.

Keasey, (6-0, 245), spent parts of the last two seasons on the 49ers practice squad. He was signed to the 49ers 53-man roster from the practice squad on September 21 of this season after a position on the active roster became available when LB Manny Lawson was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Keasey saw action at Pittsburgh (9-23), vs. Seattle (9-30), at the New York Giants (10-21) and vs. New Orleans (10-28).
