QB Jack Heneghan
Even if you haven't played this summer has this experience been good for you?
"Yes, I think that I have been really fortunate to have a great opportunity to be in this camp to work hard and take advantage of it. There is a great group in this locker room and this organization. I am just lucky to be a part of it this offseason."
On that go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter, what was going through your head at the time?
"I was just trying to take one play at a time. I think we had a good game plan. We made some great calls with all the guys out there, and we have been working hard with together over the last few weeks."
WR Richie James Jr.
How have you improved since you've been drafted?
"I've sat back and just understood that this is a learning process for me. I'm a rookie. You just need to learn from these guys. You've got WR Marquise Goodwin and you've got WR Pierre Garçon who have been playing the game for a long time, so just learning and understanding what we're trying to accomplish on offense has helped me."
What's the best thing that you've learned?
"How to play with speed. Play as fast as you can, and if you mess up you mess up, but for the most part to play with speed."
Will you be surprised if you don't make the 53-man roster?
"I can't control that. I just need to play my game."
Overall how would you assess your preseason from your perspective?
"Pretty good. It was pretty solid for a rookie. I can get better. That will come with time as I adjust to the game."
What do you want to get better at?
"I want to continue to get better at route running. That's one goal that you have to be good at in the NFL. You have to be able to run routes, play fast and catch the ball."
RB Raheem Mostert
Were you surprised with how long you played tonight?
"No, not really. When your name gets called, you have to go with it. That is what happened tonight. [San Francisco 49ers RB] Alfred [Morris] got the start tonight and then [running backs] coach [Robert] Turner [Jr.] told me the rotation before the game. In any game I am prepared. When your number gets called that, is when you go."
Are you worried at all about making the 53-man roster?
"I try not to think about it. You just have to go with the flow. I have a positive attitude and a positive mindset about everything. We will just see how it goes."
DL Solomon Thomas
You didn't play in the fourth game of the pre-season last year, so what is the reason why you played today?
"Just to get in and get some reps. I didn't get many reps in camp due to injury. I just wanted to get back out there and get in a few reps and just get ready for Minnesota."
How is 280 pounds treating you, I know you added some weight and some strength. You look great and I am wondering how you feel?
"It feels normal now. At first during OTA's I was feeling a little different. I wasn't feeling as explosive. Now I feel great. I feel like I am owning it, and this is my true body weight. Now I feel like I really came into it."
LB Fred Warner
Is being in street clothes today the coaching staff's way of saying you're ready to go?
"They told me that I would sit this game. I guess that means that they saw enough and maybe they need to see some other guys out there. Just making sure I'm healthy going into the year is the biggest thing I'm worried about."
What will be the biggest challenge in facing Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins in the season opener in an actual NFL environment?
"Kirk Cousins is an outstanding quarterback. This is his first year in that system or on that team. Watching film from the preseason, he has a lot of ability, and they're going to have a good running game now that they have RB Dalvin Cook back. I'm sure we'll be prepared when the time comes for that."
Are you excited as a playbook kind of guy in seeing what NFL intricacies are all about?
"I'm looking forward to diving in this week and making sure I'm fully prepared for the game. During the preseason they put you out there and say, 'do your responsibility.' We don't really do as much preparation in the preseason, so I'm looking forward to being prepared."
