Exum Jr., who spent training camp with the 49ers and was released by the team on Saturday, will wear number 38.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed Tobin as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2013. He appeared in 42 games with 21 starts in four seasons with the Eagles and was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in August of 2017. Tobin appeared in 15 games with Seattle last season. He was signed by the New England Patriots on March 27 and released on Saturday.

The 49ers also officially announced the signing of offensive lineman Zack Golditch to the practice squad. He played college football at Colorado State and was in camp with the Los Angeles Chargers. Golditch played 19 snaps against the 49ers during Thursday night's preseason finale.
San Francisco also announced new jersey numbers for the following players.
