The San Francisco 49ers released the first regular-season depth chart of 2018. The team is preparing to open the season against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Below is the "unofficial" depth chart provided by the 49ers Communications staff.

With Jerick McKinnon out for the season, the depth chart features Matt Breida as the starting running back with Alfred Morris as his backup. Although, both are expected to share the workload this season.

Veteran tight end Garrett Celek, the team's second-most tenured player, is also listed with the first-team offense with second-year player George Kittle listed with the second-team. Of course, Kittle is returning from a separated shoulder he sustained during the 49ers' exhibition opener against the Dallas Cowboys on August 9.

Rookie Fred Warner is listed as the starting MIKE linebacker with Reuben Foster serving a two-game suspension. If the depth chart is to be believed, lining up next to him will be Malcolm Smith at WILL and Mark Nzeocha at SAM.
