Below is a mix of key player and team stats provided by the NFL and Pro Football Focus.
Key Player Statistics
Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who is typically very good under pressure, threw all three of his interceptions under duress. He was under pressure during 19 of his 38 dropbacks.
Garoppolo had a passer rating of 45.1, which is obviously a career-worst.
Running back Matt Breida averaged nearly 4.2 yards per carry while Alfred Morris averaged fewer than 3.2.
Tight end George Kittle led the 49ers in receiving with five catches for 90 yards. Of course, he was unable to haul in a deep over-the-shoulder pass from Garoppolo in the third quarter. The quarterback's next pass was intercepted by rookie cornerback Mike Hughes, who ran 28 yards after the catch into the end zone.
Rookie Dante Pettis had the 49ers' only touchdown, which took place in the third quarter. In fact, it was his first career NFL reception. Pettis became the first 49ers player since tight end Vernon Davis in 2006 to score on his first career reception.
Tackle Garry Gilliam played because injuries to Mike Person and Joshua Garnett forced rookie Mike McGlinchey to play right guard. Gilliam took McGlinchey's spot at right tackle. He allowed a sack, a hit, and three hurries in 24 pass blocking snaps.
Rookie linebacker Fred Warner had an impressive outing, recording 12 combined tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. He allowed just 19 receiving yards on his five targets.
Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, who had just three sacks all of last season, came away with 2.5 on Sunday. It was the most by a 49ers player in a game since Aldon Smith had 5.5 against the Chicago Bears in 2012.
Defensive end Arik Armstead played in 59 snaps, which led the defensive line. He had three run stops in the game.
Kicker Robbie Gould, who connected on all three of his field goal attempts, is one shy of tying Phil Dawson's franchise record of 27 consecutive made.
Key Team Statistics
49ers running backs combined for just 84 total rushing yards.
