The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 6 contest against the Green Bay Packers on Monday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The first of three practices, a Thursday session, is in the books. Head coach Kyle Shanahan pushed back the typical practice schedule by one day because of the extra preparation time the team has this week.

The 49ers finally received some good news on the injury front. Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hamstring, quadricep) was a full participant in practice on Thursday. Goodwin missed this past Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

"It changes your offense a little bit and what you want to do as a scheme, for sure," quarterback C.J. Beathard said of not having Goodwin available during Sunday's loss. "So it will be nice to have him back this week."
