The San Francisco 49ers lost 33-30 to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Monday night and dropped to 1-5 on the season.

Key Player Statistics


Quarterback C.J. Beathard and the 49ers offense started hot. He completed all three of his pass attempts for 48 yards during the offense's game-opening seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive.

Beathard finished the game completing 16-of-23 pass attempts for 245 yards and tied his career-high with two touchdowns. He also had an interception.


While Beathard has struggled against the blitz this season, he was 10-of-13 for 194 yards with two touchdowns, an interception, and a passer rating of 125.8 on Monday night on the 16 of his 28 dropbacks where he was blitzed, according to Pro Football Focus.

Left tackle Joe Staley's Pro Football Focus grade of 88.3 was the third-best among all NFL tackles during Week 6.

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin led the team in receiving while registering four catches for career-highs in both reception yards (126) and receiving touchdowns (2). His 67-yard touchdown was his longest reception of the season.

Goodwin hauled in multiple touchdown receptions during a single game for the first time in his career. He is the first Niner to register two-or-more touchdown receptions in a single game since tight end Garrett Celek did it against Atlanta on November 8, 2015.

Goodwin's 114 receiving yards in the first half were the most by a Niner since tight end Vernon Davis had 171 in the first half against Arizona on October 13, 2013.


Running back Raheem Mostert led the team in rushing while recording career-highs in carries (12) and rushing yards (87). He also had a career-long 26-yard run.

Running back Matt Breida carried the football 14 times for 61 yards and a score.

Both fullback Kyle Juszczyk and defensive back D.J. Reed lost fumbles.

Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner now has 4.5 sacks on the season after bringing down quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a nine-yard loss. He has 13.5 career sacks.

Defensive lineman Sheldon Day also sacked Rodgers (five-yard loss), giving him two this season and five over his career.


Defensive lineman Ronald Blair sacked Rodgers for a six-yard loss and has 1.5 this season and 6.5 over his career.

Cornerback Greg Mabin struggled after entering for an injured Jimmie Ward. He allowed four catches on five targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in just 13 coverage snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

The 49ers' 24 points were the most scored during the first half of a game since October 27, 2013 (28 first-half points vs. Jacksonville).

The 49ers defense stopped each of the Packers' five third-down attempts in the first half. Green Bay finished the game four-of-13 on third down.

The 49ers defense entered the game having blitzed quarterbacks on only 18 percent of dropbacks, according to Pro Football Focus. The unit blitzed Aaron Rodgers on 16 of his 53 dropbacks (30.2 percent). The quarterback was 6-of-15 for 93 yards with a touchdown and a passer rating of 83.5 on those plays.


The two teams combined for 922 total net yards of offense. 401 belonged to San Francisco while Green Bay had 521.
