The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 9 contest against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 49ers held a walk-through on Tuesday and won't hold a full practice this week because of the limited time the team has to prepare.

"With these few days of rest, we really probably won't know on any of these guys until Thursday," head coach Kyle Shanahan said. "We've got two practices and there won't be one full-speed practice. There's just not enough time for these guys to recover, so the first time we'll run full-speed is Thursday."

The beginning of Tuesday's walk-through was open to the media. Wednesday's session won't be.

Starting quarterback C.J. Beathard is dealing with injuries to his right wrist and thumb. He did not practice on Tuesday and will likely be a game-time decision.

"My wrist and thumb is kind of messed up," Beathard told reporters on Tuesday. "It's two days after the game, so, hopefully, tomorrow, it will feel a lot better."
