The Denver Broncos may be without wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders on Sunday — and beyond — when they face the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium. The team fears Sanders suffered a torn Achilles during Wednesday's practice, according to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN.

As Schefter states, Denver will conduct tests on Sanders to confirm the severity of the injury.

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph is scheduled to speak with Bay Area media via a conference call at 12:15 p.m. PT. If that conversation still takes place, Sanders will likely be a topic of discussion.

Sanders is the Broncos' leading receiver. He has 71 catches for 868 yards with four touchdowns through 12 games this season.
