The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 14 contest against the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

In case you missed the earlier news, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin returned to the team on Monday after a lengthy excused absence to deal with a personal matter. He practiced on Wednesday, and head coach Kyle Shanahan expects his starting wideout to play against Denver.

"I'm just happy that he's doing better, good enough to be back in the building," Shanahan told reporters before Wednesday's practice. "I just got to see him a little bit in meetings today, so we'll see him out at practice today, see where he's at, how he looks, and we'll decide as the week goes."
