While several NFL teams are playing for playoff positioning, the San Francisco 49ers are looking toward April's draft order. Assuming San Francisco loses to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, it appears set to own at least the No. 2 overall selection.

The 49ers (4-11) could jump up to the top overall selection should the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) manage an upset win over the Seattle Seahawks — a game which takes place at the same time as 49ers vs. Rams. Seattle is a 14-point favorite in that matchup.

The 49ers are a 10.5-point underdog in their game against the Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The New York Jets (4-12) lost to the New England Patriots but currently still own a stronger strength of schedule compared to San Francisco. The strength of schedule is used as the tiebreaker between teams with matching records.

The only other four-win team is the Oakland Raiders, who will face the Kansas City Chiefs as the 49ers battle the Rams.

The 49ers head into their game with a .500 strength of schedule. The Jets sit at .510 and the Raiders at .544. The Cardinals own a .527 strength of schedule. Those numbers will change slightly based on the results from the afternoon games.
