The 49ers have been very clear since last year that they do not want to be on Hard Knocks. In case the NFL decision-makers were watching, head coach Kyle Shanahan made it even more apparent on Monday just how much he doesn't want to be on the series.
Shanahan was asked about his current stance on the issue.
"It's a hard, hard, bad stance on Hard Knocks. You would see the worst entertainment possible by me," he promised.
Hard Knocks debuted in 2001. The show, which follows NFL teams during training camp and preseason, featured the Cleveland Browns earlier this year.
