"There's not much we can do right now; we have time to make a decision," Rooney said. "We'll look at all the options. We're not going to release him, that's not on the table. But I will say all other options are on the table."
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has spoken to NFL executives around the league, who believe the Steelers could walk away with at least a second-round draft pick in exchange for Brown.
"The consensus is that they could probably get a second-rounder plus," Rapoport said on NFL Network. "Maybe a second-rounder and a third-rounder. Probably not the [first-round pick] that the Cowboys [gave] for Amari Cooper but this is one of the best players in the NFL so, at the very least, they should be able to get a significant return."
Rapoport goes on to speculate that the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, and the Indianapolis Colts could all be interested in Brown.
"I am told to keep an eye on the Denver Broncos," he continued. "They may be one of the teams plotting a run at Antonio Brown."
Brown has already shown interest in the San Francisco 49ers. He has interacted with players on the team like tight end George Kittle and followed the 49ers on Instagram while further distancing himself from the Steelers.
While a trade can be agreed upon at any point, nothing can become official until the start of the new league year on March 13.
H/t to Patrick Tulini for the find.
