Super Bowl 53 is in the books, and the New England Patriots are once again Super Bowl champions. They aren't, however, favored to win next year's big game. That distinction goes to the Kansas City Chiefs, who were given 6-1 odds of becoming the NFL champions at the end of next season, according to Las Vegas Super Book.

The Patriots, along with the team they beat on Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams, and the New Orleans Saints, are listed with 8-1 odds.

So where do the San Francisco 49ers rank on the list? You have to go down to the No. 20 spot to see the Bay Area team listed with 50-1 odds.

The 49ers finished the 2018 season with just four wins but were devasted by injuries, including losing starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and new featured running back Jerick McKinnon to season-ending torn ACLs. Both are expected to be healthy in time for the start of the 2019 season.

That other Bay Area team, the Oakland Raiders, were given 100-1 odds to be Super Bowl champions while the Miami Dolphins have the worst odds at 300-1.

H/t to Patrick Tulini for the find.
